May From Pokemon Boobs

So now that our neighbor to the south to the polls for the midterm election. This election is to win a majority in the Senate, the House of Representatives, as well as the positions of governors in 37 states. For those of you who know nothing of American politics and who are struggling in addition to follow the policy of our "best country in the world, rest assured, this post will not be a policy course. However, for you to enjoy a minimum, take a few seconds with me to absorb some basic info, it's quite simple you see.

Essentially, any U.S. policy based on a two-party system (two parts), the Democrats, generally more liberal and Republicans more conservative. You guessed it, Barack Obama is indeed a Democrat, while before him, George Bush was the perfect archetype of the bellicose Republican, Conservative, near the Christian right, but still closer to the Texan cowboy hat, owners wells of black gold. By the way, all agree that George Bush will go down in history as the president of a government among the darkest and most incompetent in the history of contemporary America and the decadent and murderous mess of Iraq war should be enough to convince you.

So to States, any elected politician (senator, governor, representative, president) is a Republican or Democrat, it does not come out! But that is eaten on the plate left or right, a phenomenon also still deeply sad and ridiculous to deteriorate from year to year: the manipulation of truth to end partisan. Neither side is immune. The ultimate goal: destroy the other vied. The real truth? An obstacle to the functioning of a good campaign ! Yes sir! Your opponent is strong in terms of previous economic achievements? Find him a mistress, a history of joint smoked 14 years, but mostly anything, drown the fish and short-circuit at any price the dissemination of any positive news regarding the man to beat. And if ever a journalist you expressed at a conference press, lie grace! Invent a sentence that would seem blow beautifully in a headline, like "The candidate would plan Pellerin in the shadow of triple property tax! "Your sources? Top level but confidential for security reasons.

Listen, the problem is so deep that a prominent newspaper in Tampa Bay, St. Petersburgh Times, has established an independent, Politifact, which has as Mission scrutinize each report balanced U.S. election campaigns. Their work is so rigorous, they have won the Pulitzer Prize in 2009. Their conclusion so far in the campaign? The candidates of both stripes are paying their tithe to the truth: 10% of what comes out of their mouth is true. The remaining 90% lies, crushing facts, failure to disclose certain details that could swing public opinion ... and come what may ...

If you have a little bit following the last Canadian federal campaigns, you'll notice that the way to smear the other quietly also nest here, a Ocean coast. Remember how Harper's Conservatives have attacked the credibility of Stephane Dion, for example. Mean stuff man!

When such dishonesty sweat of our future leaders, what can they expect from people when they try to convince citizens to be honest, transparent and honest ?

I'm sorry, but I intend to do everything possible to remain as straight possible, I no longer believe.

I leave you with these verses of hope (Rev. 21, 3, 4): And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God with men! He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, and there will be no more mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away ...

Urges the return of Jesus!
