How To Turn The Sound Off On Catchphrase

Merry Christmas!

It's true that Christmas is a special celebration. It is a usual family gathering, embellished with a sumptuous meal and an avalanche of gifts (which in a large proportion used to distract and to collect dust) lying under a tree full of colorful lights and decorations. It is the perfect opportunity to revisit those we love remote 51 weeks per year, the oldest, as babies. It's the perfect time designated where a majority of Quebecers do their annual visit to the small church. A church with which they maintain a strictly traditional link (Ti-Jesus in the manger with the ox and the ass, come to bring peace on earth, Gory! Glory! Hallelujah! That's about where it stops ...). All this, of course, in a warm and festive, safe, and often alcoholic wish seasoned and saucy jokes stupid in the extreme.

Yes it is true that Christmas is a very special celebration. That's a party where several social pressure can become almost unbearable. When the bank account is empty and credit cards are "loadées" the cap, it only remains to write his name on a list to expect to receive a basket of hope or maybe some gifts that will not choose yourself. It is a time of the year when you feel so miserable to be poor and unable to offer a laptop or an X Box to his children, the sham's Eve December 24 meeting could degenerate into shouting and insults (especially if mom and dad had the foresight to freeze their sentences with the bottle of rum). The time has therefore tailored to convince himself that has nothing to waxing or other of the birth of ti-Jesus in the manger and his hope for humanity. It was like that last year, why would it change next year?

Absolutely, Christmas is wonderful. Across the world, millions of believers, persecuted or free, rich or poor, emphasize with joy the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, without necessarily giving or receiving anything. One whose Jewish prophets of the Old Testament had announced the arrival of hundreds of years in advance. The Messiah, the Lamb of God, pure and undefiled, who took upon Himself the divine punishment for the sins of all mankind. It's the perfect time for every believer to question deeply what would be his current existence, what would be his forever, without this undeserved gift that God gave to anyone willing to receive ... Yes, it's a time when a year ends, with its trials and its painful moments of intense joy that have transformed our personality and strengthened our values.

Without condemn anyone, because having myself part of the groups described in paragraphs one and two, I prefer by far to date, the group's third paragraph. I am proud and grateful to be a Christian ...

Merry Christmas everyone!

How Long Does It Take To Adopt In 2010

Advent (2) Advent

In a time of rejoicing, I found myself repeatedly distressed at the thought not to meet Father Christmas fateful day of 25 December.

Busy in my work, shopping, celebrations with friends, the many aperitifs and dinners, I felt that my body is tired and tired of all this noise and all those lights.

But one day, strolling in a beautiful city this planet, I looked at the sky and saw a little red man that made me a wink. I turned to the friend who accompanied me and asked if she saw the same thing as me. She looked surprised, said no and told me I was still dreaming.

I blinked again, but he was always there, smiling, wagging his beard gently in the breeze that smelled of snow. Beside him stood a small tree that smelled of resin. Farther sparkled blue stars while we were in the day. And a merry extravaganza included this pretty picture. I felt tingling in the cheeks, heard voices whispering to me fafardets ear rhymes of old, and the waltz of the angels suddenly rang at the street corner. In a split second, I saw the procession together all these wonderful people and their leader, the great white bear dressed in his red cape sublime.

my heart I felt elated and my eyes lit up like a child. Then I remembered the arrival of Father Christmas at home, at home, when I was about to wait surrounded by my two older brothers, in their bedroom door closed. I heard shots hit the door, a great rustling of papers, stifled laughter, great excitement. I heard the sweet voice of my grandpa who greeted Santa Claus, asking for news of his big world tour and I sensed the friendly handshake between two men. The minutes dragged on and my heart raced. Then when my Dad called the door to get us all out, I ran towards the large tree that sat in our living room and I saw that Santa was well spent there. The gifts piled up near the bright crib, baby Jesus smiled at me and I screamed with joy. The door Input was closing slowly, candles diffused a soft glow, I felt the exciting smells of the forest and the more light colored paper surrounding the so beautiful gifts. And the big tree that my Dad brought back from the sublime millennial forest near the pasture I hugged prickles tearing myself screaming with joy.

space of a moment in this big city lights, I felt all this, tears of gratitude came into my eyes and I thanked my parents whispered and my family me had offered such beautiful Christmas. I watched friends occupied before the windows, and I declined again Earth, floating gently after my golden parachute to land on the cold paving stones, happy to have seen the wink of the old man red with a white beard.

perky I left, convinced that really, Father Christmas exists for those who keep a child's soul.

PS Dear friends, I leave you carte blanche on this message to let your imagination on the previous post, there were strange people who came to talk to me, you bring them back and participate in this sweet dream. And thank you

thank you to my lady Northern HPY, who just award prizes. Christmas has come earlier. :-)

Constipation Umbilical Hernia Surgery

Under the white flakes falling from a sky lit up, I saw reindeer on skis, pressed several Santas, elves busy, plump snowmen, polar bears embracing, mocking trolls, fairies twinkling beauty, hinds and stags wrapped up, a whole flock of children twirling. This procession was advancing to the sound of a fanfare unlikely gathering all animals of the ancient forest and whose leader, a great white bear wearing a red cape sublime, gesticulating and whistling a sprightly air. All this small world slid towards the large white fir, charged with golden balls, colorful gifts, a beautiful procession of Advent.
Under the tree, lived an entire city, bringing together all people, young and old, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Star and the promise of a bright future.

And my nose is twirling with delight, felt the scent of gingerbread, the smell of biscuits, a breath of cinnamon. On my cheek, my favorite pixie left a sweet kiss and a blinking short time, I saw the promise of a savior and kings millennia at his feet.

I do not think I have dreamed, or if so, a little. Yet on my cheek is the imprint of a kiss and my heart broken hopes that the band continue to play the waltz of the angels.

Pastors how? Rich?

On 17 November, written by Marie-Claude Malboeuf, La Presse published an article on the salaries of evangelical pastors in Quebec. From the outset, with a title of all that is more objective, "Pastors rich," Ms. Malboeuf tells us that the pastor's highest-paid Quebec wins the title of courtesy rich because that it earns between $ 80,000 and $ 120,000 per year. I have a qualifier for this kind of article peddler of useless information as hollow, and that looks that the department income and those who pay the salary of the pastor: gutter journalism. A pastor who leads a church of 3,500 members with 88 employees under his charge, can easily be compared to any corporate officer of equivalent size. Mucha know a worse one another CEO with so much responsibility that earns less than that? Titus news: It no longer exists in 2010, and is quite normal.

Simon Durivage win three if not four times that salary, and in the media world, all agree that earns a good living, to the point line. Nobody would write that he is rich, nobody! It is rich pastor who earns $ 120,000 and works besides his hours? With two children, a wife, a mortgage and a car payment? Make me laugh and sweat my fleet ....

But the opportunity was too tempting for the media. Some guys with a title of pastor suspected of defrauding their small congregation, and this is the opportunity to demonstrate to the populace in Quebec than in the middle of the Gospel, it never seems far from practical Suspicious disguised telethon. At least the tabloids, they do not form in a half measure by hiding the private parts with a fig leaf, their superficiality el cheapo deluxe is complete and accepted.

The article as such has nothing defamatory notice. Nor is it filled with falsehoods. No. But again, the title gives us a clear indication of intent. Just a title like that way, but perfectly representative of what the media in general think of the Evangelical Church. Just a little way, to help maintain this incorrigible prejudice that says that a man of God, Quebec point out, must be poor and dependent on the charity of others for something else in the feet in winter godasses of gaps.

We are a very small people sometimes ...

Lowest Property Tax Houston Area

Corruption.net Commission (te)

there was what, a month? I remember clearly the furious indignation of politicians in power, when the Maclean's has dared write the first page that Quebec was the most corrupt province in Canada. The poor author of the article was systematically planted by each reporter by which he bravely agreed to grant an interview. This morning, those same journalists have almost want to apologize to that yesterday was a dark moron in the pay of the canadians anti-Quebec, and in addition , here they to claim body and cries a commission of inquiry into the corruption that plagues our proud and beautiful province. is crazy like the wind rapidly changing times. Not?

But it would be nice to stretch a commission of inquiry until death and subsequent reincarnation, one would never know whether we are indeed the province more corrupt ... and how important it might be anyway? If we deserve the Palme d'Or, be assured that another province (take your pick!) We heated the rash very closely in second place. I have already addressed a similar issue in another article on the scandals of the Montréal municipal government and the trial for fraud brought against Lise Thibault, former Governor General of Quebec ( http://lecoeurouvert.blogspot.com/2009/10/celui-par-qui-le-scandale-arrive.html ). As I write these lines, more than 100,000 citizens have signed an online petition demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Jean Charest, just that my man! For my part, I refuse to sign a petition that requires not only resigned but also demand a moratorium on the exploitation of shale gas. Québec solidaire, unable ... gogauche too much for my taste.

That said, I think our Prime Minister gone too far in turning a deaf ear, repeating until we be knocking the police do their work and that arrests are expected. Yeah, all you want Mr. Premier, but also a rotten system, with many ramifications and tentacles of the Mafia, it does not throw himself on the floor with some arrests. You know better than me, sir, for a system so rotten, even after the ground it continues to rebel against spitting fire from its nostrils and biting the feet of all the brave knights brave enough away approach. So your little police investigation, Mr. Premier, to the point where it is, it serves only a small thing in my humble opinion Citizen: avoid the vomit of the dragon do splashes, finally ... you and your friends party so to speak.

The population is not so fooled. People know perfectly well that corruption is everywhere for many moons and moons and a commission of inquiry will certainly not solve everything. But when the rot goes back to this point at the surface and we are forced to breathe and walk in ankle deep the least we would get out the hose and brushes for cleaning not good shot? Not according to our Prime Minister appears there.

Nothing is simple in politics. I would not trade my position against any politician, even at the municipal level. But the lack of courage of the Liberal Party contributes unnecessarily increase the already immense cynicism in the population. Finally, I just spark your thinking with the question: What is the first thought that comes to mind paying taxes when he heard the Minister of Finance announced an increase next driver's license to compensate for the shortfall in the next budget for road infrastructure??

I leave you the choice of epithets and expletives ....

What To Put On Resume For Clothing Stores

Confusion?? God bless America

For those who do not read the language of Shakespeare, here's basically what the neon sign says:
"The blood of Jesus against Obama . On November 4, 2008, history was made illegally
elect a Muslim president Taliban U.S.: Hussein. "
And if I told you that this picture was posted on the Twitter site of Sarah Palin?!? I believe at least a little joker has managed to crack his password, it is with permission that such photo would be posted from his account. I do not pretend to have what it takes to advise Palin politically, but she makes the spokesman of a reactionary religious right more often than thought, it all goes way too far.

Is she insinuating that it is agree with this statement or does she just give us some idea of the distorted perception What our Christian brothers from the center of the United States Barack Obama (you will understand that such displays do not easily find the ground floor of a church in New York)? In one case as in the other, I find this sad and politically clumsy tactics. I do not want to do the Sarah Palin bashing apply like everyone else to do for two years. Laugh if you like, but I likes me this bonnefemme. I love her for her drive and for his uncommon courage. I do not know the purity of his motives to serve his country, but let him what he deserves, it has more than coui .... that many types of my acquaintance (including me!).

Even the establishment of his own party is afraid. Because they are afraid that things are going now, it is in an excellent position to win the Republican nomination for the election of 2012. It scared them a boundless sheet because if she were to win this nomination, it will be Sarah vs. Barack for the presidency in 2012, and there the Republicans suspect although they may bite the dust and choking. ..

Yes, I like Sarah Palin and her style of Alaskan grizzly with a stick hockey between the teeth but against Barack Obama, I'm afraid that Sarah would become the sockeye in the mouth of the black bear. Why? Precisely because of the kind of philosophy behind the decision to post a picture like you see above. There is still a limit to the demagoguery and populism. You see, the majority of American voters do not buy this fable of Taliban Muslim elected illegally and unless a miracle Sarah Palin rises to the level of an intellectual like Hilary Clinton, how will it to compete against the argument as strong as a refined Barack Obama?

May From Pokemon Boobs

So now that our neighbor to the south to the polls for the midterm election. This election is to win a majority in the Senate, the House of Representatives, as well as the positions of governors in 37 states. For those of you who know nothing of American politics and who are struggling in addition to follow the policy of our "best country in the world, rest assured, this post will not be a policy course. However, for you to enjoy a minimum, take a few seconds with me to absorb some basic info, it's quite simple you see.

Essentially, any U.S. policy based on a two-party system (two parts), the Democrats, generally more liberal and Republicans more conservative. You guessed it, Barack Obama is indeed a Democrat, while before him, George Bush was the perfect archetype of the bellicose Republican, Conservative, near the Christian right, but still closer to the Texan cowboy hat, owners wells of black gold. By the way, all agree that George Bush will go down in history as the president of a government among the darkest and most incompetent in the history of contemporary America and the decadent and murderous mess of Iraq war should be enough to convince you.

So to States, any elected politician (senator, governor, representative, president) is a Republican or Democrat, it does not come out! But that is eaten on the plate left or right, a phenomenon also still deeply sad and ridiculous to deteriorate from year to year: the manipulation of truth to end partisan. Neither side is immune. The ultimate goal: destroy the other vied. The real truth? An obstacle to the functioning of a good campaign ! Yes sir! Your opponent is strong in terms of previous economic achievements? Find him a mistress, a history of joint smoked 14 years, but mostly anything, drown the fish and short-circuit at any price the dissemination of any positive news regarding the man to beat. And if ever a journalist you expressed at a conference press, lie grace! Invent a sentence that would seem blow beautifully in a headline, like "The candidate would plan Pellerin in the shadow of triple property tax! "Your sources? Top level but confidential for security reasons.

Listen, the problem is so deep that a prominent newspaper in Tampa Bay, St. Petersburgh Times, has established an independent, Politifact, which has as Mission scrutinize each report balanced U.S. election campaigns. Their work is so rigorous, they have won the Pulitzer Prize in 2009. Their conclusion so far in the campaign? The candidates of both stripes are paying their tithe to the truth: 10% of what comes out of their mouth is true. The remaining 90% lies, crushing facts, failure to disclose certain details that could swing public opinion ... and come what may ...

If you have a little bit following the last Canadian federal campaigns, you'll notice that the way to smear the other quietly also nest here, a Ocean coast. Remember how Harper's Conservatives have attacked the credibility of Stephane Dion, for example. Mean stuff man!

When such dishonesty sweat of our future leaders, what can they expect from people when they try to convince citizens to be honest, transparent and honest ?

I'm sorry, but I intend to do everything possible to remain as straight possible, I no longer believe.

I leave you with these verses of hope (Rev. 21, 3, 4): And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God with men! He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, and there will be no more mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away ...

Urges the return of Jesus!

Whats A Good Penis Girth Toilet Paper Roll

Halloween misery ...

And here we go again! With varying degrees of indignation, thousands of other believers before me have expressed their negative thoughts about this holiday. So I'll spare you my personal rhetoric on the matter, and confine myself to an act that speaks volumes about the collective unconsciousness that surrounds the phenomenon.

As you probably know, our beautiful province has a staggering annual rate of suicide. As I write these lines, we're at three per day, no less. Incidentally, the middle class has more suicides than the opposite classes, especially among men between 18 and 45. So yes, home, the poor as rich as life can be removed. Proof that our values and our way of life in dire need of this element that brings hope and meaning to life? I am deeply convinced. So far as I'm concerned, the little ones dress up once a year in Peter Pan, kitten or flying superhero, then drugged them with sugar until the hysteria, it can always go. But anything that glorifies or trivializes death, fear, blood dripping everywhere ... could capaaaaaaaaaaaaaaable!

To better understand me, let me tell you a little story. It was not so long ago, right here in Quebec, a father found his eldest son, the first shades of twilight, hung from a hook in the ceiling of the award to the bottom of the back yard. While the family German shepherd howling like a wolf shocked, the father yelled to turn it to heart-rending the ax, lifting the body already lifeless from his son, shouting his name all his might as if he hoped to reach it from another dimension ...

Quick question: if you were the father, or brother this desperate, how would you feel when in rehearsal (during the halloweeeeeeen !!!), you get to the cemetery lawns decorated with characters from horror movies and hanging from trees ?!? Is it I who am too sensitive or should we suffer of deep unconsciousness to find it funny and moving forward with a decor as profoundly disrespectful that macabre? Exactly, it's disrespectful, immature and unfortunately representative of a society that can no longer trying to make people believe that when one is open, everything can be subject to a good laugh. Yes, it's so just a joke , except of course when it is our son or our father, who held onto a rope around the largest branch of the maple in 'back yard ...

When I think about it, I hate Halloween and sad demonic antics that may ensue ...

How Does Cervical Mucus Help Me

Call me Mr. Mayor!

But who owns this nice mug do you think? Nope! This is not the Irish mobster surprised by a photographer during a football match. I present Rob Ford, who was elected Monday night for mayor of Toronto. Why take a few minutes of my time to talk about the new mayor of Toronto's beautiful? Simple ... the history of the municipal election has absolutely no precedent in the history of Canada.

A brief reminder: in December 2003 to succeed Mayor Mel Lastman (an eccentric who will be remembered primarily for her appearances in the annual gay pride parade and his handshake with a Hell's Angels before the national media), the population of Toronto brings to power a David Miller. Former NDP candidate, a graduate of Harvard Law School and Toronto, Miller promises to bring much in the twenty-first century Toronto as a cultural capital and ecological excellence in North America, nothing less. With ambitions as noble as costly, Miller needs money, lots of money. But great affliction, the reign of Mayor Miller was marked by a vicious U.S. recession, which does not help you guessed right. Despite some achievements in the cultural elegant, it could well summarize the period Miller: tax, tax, tax! In return, we could summarize the reaction of people in two words: do c. ...!

In December 2009, Miller announced that for family reasons, he would not seek a third term as mayor. In 2006, when it was renewed for the second time, the participation rate was 39%. Monday night, brace yourself: 53%! Yes the zamis, I told you earlier, the "unprecedented". What explains this dramatic Rob Ford!

Former football player nearly 300 pounds, Mr. Ford has campaigned with a slogan sledgehammer blow impossible to ignore: "No more gravy train!". Yahouuuu! By the way, just to give you an idea of the character, Mr. Ford was involved in an altercation with a woman during a game the Maple Leaf. Completely drunk and out of it, security has been out of the Air Canada Center while he yelled at the lady in question: "Go to Iran to violate and make you shoot if you're not happy! Although he was convicted in '99 for impaired driving are the innocent on two other occasions: one for domestic violence (Madame withdrew his complaint), and another for possession of marijuana (that's probably the why he wants to hire 200 more police officers).

In 2007, he declared that roads are for cars, buses and trucks. And although his heart bleeds every time a cyclist gets killed, essentially, Mr. Fort believes that we simply had to drive elsewhere. So, more cycle lanes on major roads in the city of Mr. Ford. No more war on the car, low tax on a new car registration imposed by his predecessor, reducing the number of trams (they slow traffic and cursed), the garbage grants for green roofs, the Ecology is for sissy!
Well, You Get The Picture now! I would hate to speculate on the damage that such a person could inflict on the reputation of the Queen City, but next to him, Regis Labeaume is the boy scout in shorts and suspenders. I understand perfectly well that Torontonians have ras-le-Lollipop pay up through their nostrils, but then to elect Rob Ford for mayor ... I hope I am wrong, but that does not seem to have little relation to what I would call an informed choice. I trust that it takes much more than what Mr. Ford seems to offer to manage the destiny of a city the size of Toronto. No kidding, even Sherbrooke would not elect this guy.

And I thought the world was bad enough as it ... Whew!

Red Lines On Rear Projection Tv

Forgiveness

One could easily infer that nothing could be added on forgiveness. If you knew ... if you knew what I could read everything that I taught for 12 years, all I could tell, everything I need humility and surrender to me even get to forgive the effort I need support to accept that another human can really forgive me, I have difficulty understanding what God's forgiveness means really. inexhaustible subject if there is one!

But despite all the emotional and intellectual complexity associated with it, I understand a little, just a little bit, because of the extreme importance that Jesus gives, I quote: " You have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. " (Matthew 5, 43, 44)

Imagine a world where there would be no forgiveness. It would be a horror that no one could describe, although sometimes .... But forgiveness remains fundamental for humanity in the sense that its power is the only one who can stop the downward spiral of violence between peoples and individuals. Without forgiveness, no speech can not calm the rage that burns in the heart of man, which ultimately leads to the settlement of accounts by the blood. Watch what happens to people who refuse to forgive each other, you'll see that I am not exaggerating.

We all need to learn to forgive and be quiet (me included). We all need to learn to give up the victory by the "last word", and move away in silence to pray rather than to flaunt our most implacable arguments.

I do not know if it's approaching fifty, but I'm seriously getting tired of my big mouth reflexes. Enough 's enough, really!

Lucisart Installation Damaged

I want to be another

I laid this poem last summer. I had originally intended to make a song and I was quite advanced in music. Then one morning I realized I could not see myself singing this text as it ages. Too dark, too heavy. Fortunately, the ending is hopeful. God being present in my life, I allow myself not to include his light in everything I write, it would be dishonest of me part because no matter the race or the depth of the depression in which I find myself from time to time, His grace to me over and makes me want to continue. Nevertheless, allow me to introduce him here because I do not think so stripped of any interest despite its heaviness, include several ...

I want to be another
When I bend under the rancor
And the moonless night
Getting away from my due
I want to be another
When the enemy I torpedo
And that doubt as a gimlet pierces my heart morose

I want to be another
When fear paralyzes me
And his gall intoxicates me
At almost overdosed
I want to be another
When I hear you more
And these fallen beings pushes me to neurosis

I want to be another
When I seek your face
And that my soul crosses my rage
Who came back from his break
I want to be another
Although more law and less wandering
And never lose this time crumbles under necrosis

I want to be another
But I have a Father who always talks to me
Who covers me against my will to love
And leads me to the issue
Here or violence
Do find more remains
Neither the body nor in the heart
From our new alliance
Yes of free men
Who wanted as we dazzle
Although they had nothing to offer bigger than what we are ...

Pain Between Shoulders

But he who forgets the strayed rebuke (Prov 10:17) Sufjan Stevens

I'm not a fan of soap operas in ages. Generally, they end up royally annoy me. Apart from very few exceptions who manage to keep me faithful to the end of a season, they are irrelevant to me. You see, I do understand that our soap operas are a reflection of our society, but that is precisely what hit me: the values of our society saddens me and give me sometimes want to move on another planet. But, as I resolved to become an eternal optimist (with God's help, it goes without saying), rather than foolishly criticize without providing an alternative, I shall endeavor here to attempt an analysis of which I ' hope will reach an early solution path.

last Monday evening, the body and brain washed after a particularly demanding day at work, I decided to m'avachir on the sofa for an evening TV. After a few moments turbo zap, I choose to type in an episode of "Yamaska. As usual, we are treated to a litany of intrigue on couples torn apart by infidelity, above the market faced with teenagers who speak to them as we talk to sub-human, seasoned with the older girls falls in love with another woman which in turn wondered if she preferred men or women ... yes I know it's confusing you.

here I will therefore particularly frustrating to a scene of the episode. By the way, I want to say that despite all that I can criticize the values that most soap operas reflects, I do not question the quality of our authors, our directors, let alone that of our players in Quebec. The work of all these people just keeps getting better every year and it is to their credit. Bravo! You have nothing to envy the best in the world.

So this famous scene close-up mom who is woken up at 4 o'clock am by the music that seems to come from the bedroom of his teen age 15. She gets up, a leap towards its progeny room and opens the door without knocking: Surprise! Son and two of his friends are there to "chill" and smoking fags on the bottom of tehno boom-boom. Mom, rightly irritated, asks his son to whom he requested permission for the little white night session with his charming little buddies, you can imagine more ...

Obviously, for the boy-king disturbed at its meeting of deepening cultural, mom is a despot obsessed with nonsense cursed 50s. And stuff, served with a casualness and arrogance than any parent should be set illico sauce "NEVER AGAIN YOUNG MAN!" But mom, so sweet and so in control (and quite possibly terrified of injuring her baby family size, in that big enough to annoy the whole family), he kindly replied almost ten minutes to send his friends and go make a nice nap. Well, I do not know what you have done in his place, but for my part, I wonder first the fact that the 15 year old has no problem of conscience "blaster" his music at 4 in the morning while everyone is asleep. Here is my humble conclusion: before we get there, and apart from the fact that any teen can suffer from bad influences of friends more or less desirable, I suspect his parents have neglected more than once to impose limits most basic to this boy.

Believe me, I myself was a teenager that you would not have found an ideal companion for your little ones. But despite all my deviations premature and my entourage of bullies, the house of my parents has never been a place where you could afford to hold anything without their consent, and it was perfect as well. There were impassable limits, my brother and myself were very aware, and it was perfect as well.

I must sincerely thank my parents taught me to respect and sense of hierarchy. Today (yes, I'm really trying to speak to Gen Y), more and more young people believe in the same level as their parents as soon as their brain is developed enough to make an attempt at argument, made me laugh! Dear parents, your children will not suffer emotional trauma if you teach them that NO ... it's NOT! Closing the door on these gurus of progressive education that teaches us that today, everything is negotiable. I do not encourage you to bully your little ones to make you comply, I simply urge you to reject any compromise with this fundamental right is yours, the one directing traffic under your own roof.

My personal definition of "home": physical location where you either pay rent or own the mortgage and all bills that vlimeuses s relating thereto.

Titus question: in your humble abode, "YOU", you share accounts payable with children and teens?

Yeah ...

Fake Ids In Niagara Falls

Do you know this face? Now it is done, I present to you Sufjan Stevens. Until very recently, and my deepest shame, yet it was for me a perfect stranger. Last week, while surfing the blog of one of our most competent Critics and observers of the music scene - I have appointed Mr. Alain Brunet here - I learn that most analysts are seasoned musical world consider him nothing less than genius. A genius multi-instrumentalist whose main instrument is the banjo ... no joke! Immediately got home, I sit in front of the MacIntosh and full throttle on Itunes question to put myself in the ear are excerpts from Gershwin's electro-folk of the XXI century.

I do not know all of your musical culture, but I warn you, that says musical genius also said musical complexity. By listening to the first excerpts of the latest installment of Mr. Stevens, I was - and it's really the least we can say - somewhat perplexed. The term engineering fits like a glove, without doubt, but the first listen is anything but a sinecure. I remind you that this is his last cd I'm talking about, "The Age of ADZ", the most experimental of them all apparently. To my ear, and I still have some musical culture in the system, it was almost cacophonous. Disappointed and frustrated not to find harmonious the first listening, I started looking for something less cracked. God be praised, Stevens has a dozen products on the market, and what work, phew! I reconfirm, we do have a talent deal with higher than average.

Bookmarks, Illinois and Michigan. Two CD, two names of U.S. states. At the time, Stevens had joked that he planned to produce 50 projects in honor of the 50 U.S. states. Can be inhabited melodies and ideas for arrangements the point of being able to afford such an insatiable musical without the risk of poisoning the acute listener to repeat? I have no certainty. But although it would probably be impossible not to, at least, find the signature of a composer through a work too thick, I would think capable of such a challenge. And for the text ... you would write an ode to Idaho potatoes as you would find poetic and appropriate. It's like that when God decides to flood a human talent, that's all.

Keeping firmly in mind that it remains preferable to worship the Creator and not the creature, I highly recommend the work of Sufjan Stevens.

I wonder what Jesus would make of an old banjo?

Homemade Tear Drop Camper

For all have sinned and ... (Romans 3; 23)

Absolutely, this cartoon is stripping! It could be regarded as a vicious attack against the church by many believers. Nevertheless, so brutal it can be, unfortunately it is very representative of a reality: many men of God have abused children. You know, I know, and God knew long before us.

Like most of my fellow citizens, the word pedophile gives me a start-heart. Just imagine a grown man who abuses a small or a small defenseless child or young person ... I'll spare you more. Still, I maintain that the average citizen understands the evil phenomenon of prejudice is the toughest on pedophiles. Mind you, I do not profess myself to be expert, but I know enough about sexual deviance in general to deliver a more nuanced view. Little warning before we go any further: my goal is not to make pedophilia acceptable or more sympathetic, no! For cons, I believe that the God I serve is prepared to forgive a pedophile just as a genocidal murderer and a dictator (as long as he repents of course!). So their plight deserves to be studied and understood, a matter of rising above the traditional and simplistic answer "We should all hang by the c. ... "Give that much when asked : What do you think of pedophiles?

In my humble opinion, pedophilia grows, more often than not. I do not think one is born a pedophile, I also believe that everyone carries within it the germ could may lead to pedophilia (I assume here that I'm not exactly being make friends). Well let me explain: Several studies show that a significant number of pedophiles have themselves been victims of pedophilia. Strangely, one could infer that we are dealing with a virus that spreads, although the process that brings an individual victim of pedophilia to transform itself into an active pedophile is extremely complex, we could, to oversimplify, use this picture for viruses.

Secondly, and more specifically in the case of pedophile priests, the scenario looks different. If, like me, you follow the news, you've probably noticed that the vast majority of sexual abuse lawsuit filed against various members of the clergy throughout the world are connected at a time both distant and near. With us in our beautiful province, many incidents seem to have took place between the 50s and early 70s. Of course, there were others later, but in a much less important. To understand the reason for the greater percentage of incidents between 1950 and 1970, he must first study the socio-historical context of the time.

In short, imagine a time when the Catholic Church reigned absolute authority on Quebec. More than political power, the Church was the blade that cuts any pear: economic, moral, social, cultural and so on. To make myself understood, and no disrespect to anyone, it was, for a huge portion of the populace, the 'business' most prestigious that one could dream of access. Its sphere of influence was particularly strong in everything related directly to the formation of our evolving society: the school among others. Who has not had a parent with a clergy member as a teacher? Many intellectuals and thinkers of high caliber were attracted to a position in the church, or even dreamed of one day seeing one of their sons or their daughters to be part and we would have thought like them at the same time.

So, contrary to what many believe, the church was a haven for perverts looking for easy prey. It is clear that yes, some were (sadistic perverts should I even say, talk to our First Nations friends!), But for many of these men attracted by the clergy, their predator s profile is developed en route. Recently, I listened to the interview with an American researcher who, over a long period, has accumulated a large number of interviews with clergy struggling with issues of sexual attraction to young boys. Surprisingly, These men were mostly not suffered sexual abuse when young. What they can say beyond a doubt by cons is that they still remember clearly have suffered some discomfort towards their own sexuality, a crash somehow. A deadlock as they concluded that religious life was for them the way any designated place (although many were not necessarily devout believers, believe it or not!). But they had one day to face the evidence that they were not as they thought to be asexual in the beginning.

For that day arrives, when a young boy crosses their path and there ... Bang! It was love at first sight! At first they try to convince themselves that it will pass, but ... Surprise! It does not pass absolutely not. It's actually the same type of lightning that a man can feel for a woman, so the boy takes up all their thoughts, they feel the need to protect, to be kind and caring towards her. They worry about his lower back and forth, they were very, very much want to be with him, to know it intimately, share intimacy. They feel guilty of course, but who can they confess such an attraction? It is 1950, just imagine. In 1950, we do not talk about these things, one is reduced to suppress them brutally. Not more books available on this kind of problem, and if such book exists, it is found as prohibited by the Church. In such an environment point of delivery for a being adrift, except from God, of course. But their relationship with God has little to do with a deep Consecration. Remember, they joined the ranks of the clergy for a reason other than to serve the Lord.

You see exactly where I am coming now. But another thing before we go look elsewhere: these drives have nothing to do with the imposition of celibacy by Rome. You see, hundreds of thousands of men have lived their priesthood without ever having to fight against the attraction of this kind. Some went to women, I agree, but many remained chaste without major battle throughout their religious life. The apostle Paul could not have been clearer on the subject of celibacy in his epistles. He was fully conscious by cons it was not appropriate to all men. Did he not write: "It is better to marry than to burn" (1 Cor 7, v8 and 9).

For almost conclude, a word or two about style pedophiles more current supplied by a source as destructive as fascinating, but unfortunately for everyone: the cyber space.

When I told you earlier that everyone carries within it the germ could may lead to pedophilia, it is precisely this comparison Internet I had in mind. Friends, you and me and one who can see everything, do you honestly believe that you would be strong enough to never get to enjoy, if you venture to see (oh, just a quick glance sûûûr well ...) sexually explicit images of boys or girls available on the net? Not on your life in your case, do you? Or is your privilege to believe. But know that there are still tons of serious studies that say just the opposite. And I do not speak of studies commissioned by prominent evangelical churches, no, no. Studies all that is more secular and led by eminent specialists, yes, yes. No religion in there, but good old secular straight pipe who claims that pornography is dangerous and that more and more men are left with a problem of pedophilia in strength to consume more and more porn " hard "and deviant. Good fathers who once shouted loudly they assassinate the first bastard who dares to touch their child, but never saw the oncoming train coming directly from their home. That tells you something that soccer coach high level has been convicted of multiple sexual assault, a good father, however, above all suspicion, impeccable reputation, a trusted man they said ...

Most of these studies suggest that men who come to watch the child porn on the net will not go all to act. Good news for our little ones should be protected by bodyguards 24 hours 24. But still, the game really worth the candle? When I say that we carry all the potential to derail badly and destroy lives because of our sinfulness, I try not be more enlightened than the cross on Mount Royal, the facts show and they make me more afraid that the idea of a cracked out for consideration to cut my throat.

He, at least, I perhaps the chance to see it coming.

How To Fake Kidney Stones

Playing God

On Monday, La Presse published the opinion letter from a young doctor, Antoine Boivin. Currently, he completed his Ph.D. in Scientific Institute for Quality of Healthcare in the Netherlands. After reading his text, my jaw did not want to hang up. First, our dear Antoine tells us that in the Netherlands, euthanasia is framed legally since 2002. The parameters of this law is listed under the Euthanasia Act friendly. While they are here in Quebec, begins a special commission to study the possibility of legalizing euthanasia (assisted suicide is also a very acceptable term), I thought it useful to share with you the results of study conducted by the Scientific Institute attended by our young doctor in the making. Hold on tight ...

So, since the adoption of this Euthanasia Act, euthanasia would be responsible for 2% of deaths in the Netherlands. Well, so far, nothing too alarming considering the legality of the thing. Before going further, let me enlighten you on the definition of euthanasia. In fact, it is important not to confuse euthanasia and refusal or discontinuation of treatment. Stopping a chemo treatment, disconnecting a respirator or palliative care to increasing doses of morphine, are in no way considered euthanasia, one can easily understand. But if the patient makes an explicit request to be medically attended to end his life on earth, there is! The physician has two choices before him: to accept or reject. If he refuses, the patient will have no choice but to continue his treatment, or simply to live with his condition in the hope that death comes the harvest without much delay. By cons, if the physician agrees to the request of the patient, it will probably (by injection) a strong dose of neuromuscular blocker, which will effectively paralyze breathing muscles and cause his death in the very short term.

Interesting statistic: the Netherlands, 38% of euthanasia requests are rejected by doctors, especially if the application is based on the loss of dignity. So here I happened to much more troubling statistics from this study: In 2005 alone, doctors participating in the study admitted to having killed more than 1,000 patients without their explicit request (see Consent) and without reporting their actions to the authorities empowered for that purpose . In the Euthanasia Act, it is nevertheless clearly stipulated that the consent of the patient, and a report to the authorities, must necessarily be part of the process. I think it's elementary logic, no? The study also tells us that euthanasia is performed on newborns, persons with mental disorders and elderly people suffering from cognitive problems. Year in, year out, 19% of euthanasia cases are resolved without the patient's request and, sometimes, without prior discussion with a family member or a fellow doctor.

And vlan! Who will now look into my eyes to convince me that we can frame with euthanasia laws, without it opens the door to abuse worthy of a death camp? I quote the author, word for word, to try to better yourself: "Despite its legalization in the Netherlands, 20% of cases of euthanasia are not reported by doctors (remember that c is who themselves confess), which prevents any form of external audit. We can not exclude the possibility that euthanasia was practiced among people who would have liked or would have changed his mind in the short term. " And re-wham!

I sincerely hope that this study should reflect our legislators and they realize what a monster they are dealing with here. And please, let me preserve the chorus to the fact that the Netherlands are generally more progressive or more decadent because they legalized prostitution and cannabis use before anyone else. Granted, they are ahead now, but my gut tells me that at the rate things are going, many Western companies will be equally decadent the Netherlands in the near future so, you can almost already breaking the teeth on it ...

we believe in or not, nobody can replace God. Neither an eminent surgeon, or even a dying man who has had enough. Some would tell me that I can not understand what it's like to suffer at the point of wanting to die, you'd be surprised ...

Thyroid Disorder Throat Trauma

Cheers retirement!

retirement. So an expression to multiple meanings. In our case here, the plan is actually the equivalent of half a weekend during which a group of men of Christian faith come together somewhere, preferably far from the city and its distractions. To do what? Relax, eat, play cards and talk hockey. Yes, absolutely! But the ultimate goal of this 24 hours "For Men Only" is actually much the opposite of rest for many of us at least.

course, if the speaker is kind of boring, or even if you are the perfect listener Teflon (we would speak to you on national television that it would suffice not to make you feel concerned), such a retreat will leave an imprint in your shallow existence. By cons, if like me you are anxious not to lose your life to watch the train pass, while around the world is heading straight toward a catastrophe of eternal consequences, and, in addition, the speaker is a skilled orator , experienced and anointed by the Holy Spirit (like Daniel Decary, Philipe Joret or Michel Martin), you come away transformed, believe me!

remains to be seen how far now. Of course, not all men are equal before the Lord. I mean all are at different stages in their spiritual growth. Fortunately, some of us reach a level I would call admirable. Far from perfect, however, their testimony is an inspiration for the quality of their commitment and perseverance to be transformed to the image of Our Lord. Others are perfectly sincere, but show larger gaps when faced with the ordeal. Very often, the intensity and quality of life of prayer are good signs of difficulty in their control or to stand before the temptation. In this regard, I know a bit. Having myself Part of the second group during the first 9 years of my Christian life, I could write a complete book and very entertaining on the agonies of Christians confused and inconsistent. Regarding the third group, I prefer not to dwell on their case. I think not having the authority to speak. I leave this exercise to men of the caliber of David Wilkerson, nothing underneath.

So during a retreat with Philipe Joret in June 2007, I received a "wake-up call" uncomfortably unsettling but oh so beneficial. I have already said, I do not know to this day if he realizes what the Spirit was doing with the words coming out of his mouth here this weekend. Damn! When he taught us the importance of discipline in the life of prayer, I felt alone in the room with Jesus himself who said, "Well then Michael, if you do not understand this that this type teaches you French, I can immediately bring to you here in the language of your choice, it's really any way you like! " No more nonsense in Quebec good! Phew!

Yes, without a shadow of a doubt, pensions have always been for me the turning points in my spiritual life. And the one I get is no exception to the rule. Dear friends, I do not give advice to those who do not ask me, but if I can humbly allow me: the next time your church will hold a retreat for men, try to see. I'm actually extremely poor position to look anyone up (and I have no desire, mind), but if after years of Christian life, yet you find yourself repeating yourself you'll never be able to change this or that your sad and redundant paths, a time apart, away from your shelter, might be much more beneficial than you imagine.

It's amazing what you can hear in our heart when the scene changes. Saturday night, leaving the place of retirement, I started thinking that if I could be a prophet in my own country, I could become cons for a better man if I ventured to listen outside my own house . Daniel thank you, thank you Philip, thank you Michael ...

Kohler Seat Anchor Bolts

The power of love ...

Aye! Almost a year without publishing anything on this blog. I will not seek far, I would say lack of interest. Mind you, I do not lack interest in life down here. No, I speak here of interest specifically related to the holding of a blog and as my views are far from being fundamental to the survival of the race, I invested my energy elsewhere. Voila!

But what happens to you it now that the desire to write catch me? Nothing special, if not yesterday, reading the blog of Michel Houellebecq (which I've just discovered), I remembered having a blog myself sleeping somewhere on the web. I remembered that the ten people that subscribe to the same blog, some have already expressed the pleasure they felt in reading my articles. So I told myself: "Why not?" Why not at least try to get back?

Life has continued to be known life, and continuing with it, I found that nothing had altered my quest for the extraordinary, the miraculous. A thirst for power in fact I say it without shame! The true power. Not this fake power wimp who rush to save face when situations are humiliating and intimidating. Not childish power of a dictator or a general so swollen with rage and pride, that his face threatens to explode whenever he is told no. I question this rather quiet strength, both sweet and unchangeable, who can look the worst attack in the eye and saying: " My friend, if you really knew the love that dwells in me, you stop wasting your precious time with me! "

Yes, I am referring to the power of royal blood, who knows very well and feel host the fear, like pain, but never how to not give him control of his destiny. This power has only Advisor: The Holy Spirit! That brother: Jesus Christ! Qu a father, Jehovah, the Lord of the universe! It is not as fundamentally linked to the trinity, it is this trinity. It is therefore divine, glorious and immortal, transcends all understanding and wisdom. She inspires poets and martyrs to the student ecstasy, it transforms into a prince and the beggar reminds the prince that the beggar is her brother, well beyond appearances and grime.

"The Power of Love" sing like the other. Only without the little cutesy and cheesy icing that makes us think, "Yeah!"

By the way, go read the prose of this young man http://lukaslafondrivard.blogspot.com . You will give me the news.

Good continuity ....
